The new location of the panel is ' http://my.w4networks.com '. We have just finished importing clients from our Kansas City, MO (VPS IPs starting with 204.*) location. After importing, we had to manually view each individual account which was imported to verify proper client information and package plan on each VPS. Several changes had to be made a long the way and we are asking you to PLEASE log in to the new panel to verify all information so we can clear up any discrepancies which may exist. Your login for the new panel is your VPS hostname and password. If you are unsure if your VPS hostname, you can login to your billing center (currently located at: http://support.w4networks.com/whmcs/ ) and view your service product details (http://support.w4networks.com/wh ... tion=productdetails). Once logging into ' http://my.w4networks.com ' and verifying all information, there is no need to contact us. If you notice something wrong with the information, please submit a ticket! Please note, that we currently do not have any operating system reloading template currently available. We first working to get all customers properly imported into the new control panel. Scranton, PA clients (VPS IPs starting with 64.* / 66.* / 96.*), we hope to have you up and running on the new panel very soon. We are waiting for verification on our IP Blocks at this location and want to verify the importing went smoothly from our Kansas City, MO location. Once the import takes place and we verify and correct the data, another notification email will be sent out. I would like to thank everyone for their patience in this time of transition. The mess from previous ownership as been very frustrating for both us and our customers. I have seen in the control panel vps 's disk space is 0KB...
Pls help me re-install the CentOS 5 i386 to my VPS.
and can you enable the tun moudle to my vps ?

Apologies for the delay. We had to rebuild your account and also re-do a template file.
The reason your VPS stats show 0KB in the control panel is because your VPS was not running and actually was destroyed I believe when you attempted to install arch linux twice in a short period of time before the last build was completed installing.
I went ahead and completely re-built your VPS, with CentOS 5 i386. I also setup tun and updated all the packages to the newest versions. Let me know if you have any more issues!
On a side note, we are going to be going through all our templates and customizing them for our use. I currently pulled all the templates down, since a few did not come with proper packages needed and some came bloated with too many packages.

收购前,W4 的 solusVM 的控制面板本来就在 Scranton ,而 VPS 有在两个地方,一、在 Kansas City,另一在 Scranton,目前用户继续使用分配的 IP 不会更动,然后 W4 补上一句「世事难料(nothing is in stone)」,若要更动 IP 会事先通知用户。

1. Kansas Downtime / Future Plans

First thing I would like to touch on is the downtime our Kansas customers experienced (IPs starting with 204.*). The total downtime was 3 hours 6 minutes and 33 seconds. It actually turned out to be an issue with the provider, not with the server node itself. Sadly, we have not been able to get any explanation as to what happen, so we can only speculate as to what happened. Perhaps a bad port on a switch? bad cable? human error? This is the exact log from the kernel on the server itself.

This gets me to my next point of what some of our plans are. Both our current providers have been completely unprofessional and uncooperative since we have taken over ownership of W4 Networks. Currently we are planning to setup new server nodes at a location in New Jersey that we already do business with. The current timeline looks to be sometime in February when this will happen, at which time we will notify you of a migration plan to move to the new nodes. This will be better for both us and our customers.
2. VPS Control Panel
--------------------
ALL customers are now on the new VPS control panel located at 'http://my.w4networks.com'. Please login and verify all your information and let us know of any questions or discrepancies you may see. For most customers (unless we have personally told you otherwise), your login will be your VPS hostname. If you are unsure of this, you can find it out by logging into your billing control panel, and viewing the details of your products / services OR logging into your VPS via SSH terminal, and typing 'uname -n'. If you have trouble with your password, you can use the 'Forgot Password?' option, which will send information to your billing e-mail. If you still have trouble, please submit a ticket!
We have also added several operating system templates to the panel which will make it easy for you in the event you need to completely re-install your VPS.
3. Control Panel Location Change
--------------------------------
Before the downtime in Kansas, our web services, billing panel and DNS services were located in a VPS container on a customer node. This was something that was left over from the previous ownership that we had planned to change, though realised it had to be done ASAP after all communication was cut off during the 3 hours of downtime. We have since moved the panels to a dedicated web server at our New Jersey location and plan to add additional backups at two other locations in the near future. This should help keep the communication lines open in the event of any problems. With these changes, the support panel URL as also changed.
We are also going to be working on some integration between the Support & Billing WHMCS panel to be directly tied into some of your VPS controls.
4. BackUPS
----------
We can not stress enough how important it is to keep your own backups. No matter how many backup systems and reliability features we put in place, sometimes unforeseen things or catastrophic events just happen. We have recently been able to add a easy-to-use VPS backup feature to the VPS Control panel. It will soon be enabled for all customers, however, if you interested in testing this feature early, please submit a ticket and we can enable it for you.
